About Course

Unit 3 Learning Objective: We want students to learn the differences between banking institutions by teaching them the various purposes that these banks serve.

Banking Introduction

Chapter 1: Bank Services
Learning Objective: We want students to know the basics about a bank, the services they provide, and the different types of accounts you can have.

Chapter 2: The Banking System
Learning Objective: We want students to know the difference between the types of banks and their distinct services.

Chapter 3: Debit & Credit Cards
Learning Objective: We want students to know the difference between a debit and a credit card. We also want the students to know the pros and cons of using each card and to learn when to use each card.

Chapter 4: Credit Scores
Learning Objective: We want students to understand the importance of maintaining a good credit score by learning what makes up a credit score and why having a good score is beneficial.

Chapter 5A: Loans
Learning Objective: We want students to learn about the different types of loans, the minimum requirements needed to apply for a loan, and what to look for when choosing a loan.

Learning Objective: We want students to know how to read bank statements and to learn how to pay attention to certain things on their statements.
